DESCRIPTION:The BlueBird Quad will open for the season on Sunday\, December 11th with LIMITED GROOMING and expert powder skiing available on the upper mountain. \nThe only run that will be groomed from top to bottom is Temptation. \nPowder skiing will be available for expert skiers and riders between North and Temptation. \nThe Blue Bird\, Bear Chair and Easy Street lifts are now set to run daily from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. \nSeveral mid-mountain runs accessed via Bear Chair will also be groomed\, including Bear\, Griz\, Badger and Centennial Lane. Easy Street will be groomed. \nHidden Valley and the Lakeview Bowl remain closed. \nForecasters are calling for more fresh snow in the coming days. Brundage will groom and open more terrain as soon as conditions permit. \nLift tickets are available at regular prices. \nThe Second Sunday Season Pass holder discount will be in effect. Learn more.

Thanks to our latest storm\, we will be able to open BOTH Bear Chair and Easy Street Saturday\, December 10.  \nBoth lifts are set to run from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm from Saturday\, December 10 through the rest of the season. Brundage will open additional lifts and runs as soon as conditions permit. \nEasy Street lift tickets are free for all ages again this season. \nBear Chair tickets are $32 for ages 12 and up and $20 for kids 7-11. Kids 6 & under are always free. Late arrival rates are available here. \nSmoky’s Bar & Grill will also open starting Saturday\, December 10 along with regular rental\, retail and ski school operations.

SUMMARY:Snowtubing Season Opens at The Activity Barn
DESCRIPTION:Opening Day is Friday!!!\nSnowmaking equipment has been operating at the Activity Barn since temperatures dropped a week and a half ago and an additional 4-6 inches of natural snow blanketed the valley this week. That has allowed crews to build the first of up to six 800-foot snow tubing lanes. \nTickets range from $15 to $18 for a two-hour tubing session. The Activity Barn has undergone some big improvements this year\, including a remodeled ticket office\, new outdoor deck\, a large event tent with propane heaters and a new snack shack serving a wider variety of hot food items\, snacks and drinks. \nThe Activity Barn’s regular hours are Fridays from 4 – 8 pm\, Saturdays from 10 am – 8 pm and Sundays from noon to 4 pm. The Activity Barn will be open every day during Winter Break\, which runs from December 16 through January 2. \nLearn More\nMore tubing lanes and a snowshoeing/fat biking/cross country trail will open as soon as snow conditions permit.

SUMMARY:Brundage Mountain Summer Duathlon Series
DESCRIPTION:Join us Friday night for Race #2 of our Summer Duathlon series. The race starts with a 2 mile trail run followed by a an 8 mile mountain bike ride and finishes with another 2 mile trail run.  On-site registration begins at 5 pm on race day and is only $15. \nMissed the first race of our summer series? No problem! Race one or all\, just come up and give it a try! Family fun games\, kids race\, beer tent and great prizes. \nClick here for race organizer contact information. \nRemaining Summer Duathlon Series Dates:\nJuly 15th\nJuly 24th\nAugust 12th \nAll these training races lead up to our marquis event\, The Big Mountain Du\, which takes place Saturday\, September 3rd. It starts with a 5K trail run then a 12 mile mountain bike ride and finishes with a second 5K run.Learn more. \nWe are also adding a new type of race to the mix this Summer! Our Sun Up to Sun Down Mountain Bike Challenge is 12 straight hours of bike riding. Competing in teams of three\,  mountain biking fanatics will pedal to see who can complete the most laps in the quickest time! It’s going to be a lot of hard work\, but also a lot of fun! Learn more. The 10K Summit Run starts at 10 am. Live music will be on the plaza all afternoon. Smoky’s Bar and Grill will be hopping and this is one place where adults can grab a drink and enjoy some time in the great outdoors! \n(All alcohol consumed on site must be purchased at Smoky’s Bar & Grill\, but you are welcome to take your adult beverage ‘to go’ and consume it while enjoying the music and activities around our base area.)

DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the 4th of July with live music on the mountain!  Start your day with our super popular Summit Cat Track \,10K \, either by joining the run or cheering on our dedicated racers as the ascend 3.1 miles\, gaining 1\,640″ in elevation to the mountain summit and then\, descend the same route to the base area “everyone’s invited”\, post-run party.  Live music on the plaza starts at 10:30 am with The Last Revel\, with a quick break for our awards ceremony\, then McCall’s own “On the Loose” starts the party again at 1 pm.  \nThe chair lift opens at 9:30 am for scenic chair rides and mountain biking. Add live music\, beer tent\, lawn games\, our nature trail and lunch at Smoky’s Bar & Grill\, for a fun-filled\, memory making day to ring in the 4th! \n

Families and friends enjoy a discounted lift ride to cheer you on at the summit\, while runners turn around  and descend the same route for a total of 6.2 miles.
