SUMMARY:Payette Children's Forest Winter Adventure Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Kids and families\, join us at Brundage Mountain for the Payette Children’s Forest Winter Adventure Weekend for snow science\, skiing\, and tons of fun in the snow! \nChildren ages 6 and under can join the Forest Service for snow fort building\, blowing frozen bubbles\, and exploring snow every hour at 10 AM\, 11 AM\, and 12 PM. \nChildren ages 7 and older can join field instructors from the McCall Outdoor Science School in digging snow pits\, animal tracking\, and learning to snow shoe every hour at 10 AM\, 11 AM\, and 12 PM. The first 20 children who attend one of the first snow pit sessions will get a free chair lift ride to dig another snow pit at the top at 12 PM! You don’t want to miss it! \nIn the afternoon\, children ages 8-17 can learn to ski or snowboard with Brundage instructors from 1:30-3:30 PM. This two hour lesson is $19 and includes rental equipment. All 40 spots have now been filled for this session\, but there is no limit on the number of kids in the other morning activities. SUMMARY:Light Up the Night
DESCRIPTION:Brundage Mountain invites you to join us Saturday\, December 21 for our annual Light Up the Night celebration. \nThis year’s holiday party will feature a Torchlight Parade\, slope-side Fireworks Show and holiday tree lighting. Our parking lot bonfire/beer garden party starts when the lifts close at 4:30. \nThe Torchlight Parade will begin at approximately 5:30 pm\, followed by Santa’s lighting of the tree. Our holiday Fireworks show will blast off immediately after that. \nThe festivities and fireworks are free\, and there will be plenty of standing room to watch the light show in the base area and on outdoor balconies. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you’d like to relax during the light show and please dress for winter mountain weather conditions! \nWe will also be hosting a delicious sit-down dinner on the third floor of the lodge. \nDinner tickets are $22 for adults and $17 for kids 10 & under. The sit down dinner features BBQ ribs\, cornbread with maple butter\, baked gruyere mac & cheese\, sautéed vegetables and dessert.  Beer\, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Live music from our very own Jeff Crosby before and during dinner! \nE-mail info@brundage.com or call 208-634-4151 ext. 124 to purchase your tickets. The dinner will begin immediately after the fireworks show. \nPlease note: Starting at 4:00 pm\, the 3rd floor will be cleared as we set up for the sit-down dinner. Those who have pre-purchased tickets will be allowed back in to the third floor around 5 pm. We’ll have live music for the dinner guests\, right before and after the meal. We’re pleased to have a two-piece ensemble from Jeff Crosby & the Refugees providing our live entertainment! \nSmoky’s Bar & Grill will be open late\, but seating preference will go to those who are dining and purchasing drinks.
