Prior to his 2008 appointment to UGA\, he coordinated the brass department and directed the jazz ensemble at Minot State University\, in Minot\, North Dakota. \nIn demand as an orchestral musician\, he has played with the Atlanta\, Indianapolis\, Jacksonville\, and Honolulu Symphonies\, including a performance at Carnegie Hall with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. In the summer of 2010\, he played principal trumpet with the Santiago\, Chile Philharmonic.  He was also a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for two seasons\, working with “Bud” Herseth\, former principal trumpet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for over fifty years. \nAdept at both classical and jazz\, Craswell recently finished a North American tour of the Broadway musical 42nd St. As a soloist\, he has been a featured artist at the Aspen Music Festival\, the International Romantic Trumpet Festival in St. Petersburg\, Russia\, and has shared the stage with pianist Olga Kern and the National Gallery of Art Chamber Orchestra.  Aside from performing in 48 of the 50 states\, he has taught and/or performed in Argentina\, Austria\, Brazil\, Chile\, Italy\, and Russia.  Craswell is a New York Trumpet Company performing artist. \nCraswell is accompanied by: \nBrian Vance\, French Horn \n \nJames Smock\, Trumpet \nSeth Tomkins\, Tuba \nMichael Maier\, Trombone \n  \n

SUMMARY:Kid's Explorer Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:Come Explore Brundage Mountain in the Summer!\nIntroducing our newest program for kids 6-10 years old!  Brundage Explorers Day Camp is a hiking adventure with experienced outdoor science educators. \nKids will take the Bluebird Express Chairlift to the top of the mountain and learn about rocks\, animals\, plants\, and more with breathtaking views as they explore the top of Brundage Mountain Resort.  Each kid will create a journal of their activities along with a nature craft to memorialize their adventure. \nThe first camp will be offered on July 19 with camps every other Saturday through July and August with a different theme each week. \nExplorer Day Camp Dates:\nSaturday\, July 19 \nSaturday\, August 2 \nSaturday\, August 16 \nSaturday\, August 30 \nExplorer Day Camp Hours:\n11 am to 4 pm with a sack lunch provided at the top of the mountain. \nCost of the camp is only $50! \nCall the Kid’s Center at Brundage (208) 634-4151 x 128 or e-mail kidscenter@brundage.com for more information and reservations (highly recommended).

DESCRIPTION:Pam Benham Photography \nJoin us for a fun filled\, fact finding\, creative workshop – exploring a wide range of photography genres and technical information. While enhaling high mountain air and viewing magnificent scenic expanses\, you will learn how your camera functions; the technical operations of f-stops\, shutter speeds\, ISO settings\, white balance\, what lens to use\, when and much more. The goal is to have fun\, crank up those creative juices and close the gap between what you see and what you get with your camera. \nAfter making fabulous images\, the participants will create portfolio books – a visual journal of their workshop – showcasing photographs made during the day using either the Snapfish or Shutterfly platforms. \nDate: Saturday: July 19\, 2014 \nTime: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm \nSchedule:  \n1. SUMMARY:Summer Chairlift Grand Opening
DESCRIPTION:We are kicking off our summer season with a hometown food drive! \nWe’re inviting the public to join us for our grand opening event – and offering FREE chairlift rides. We’re asking visitors to donate one can of food per lift ride\, or make a $1 donation. Proceeds benefit McCall’s own Heartland Hunger Resource Center. The local food pantries tell us they need canned fruit and canned proteins most of all (beans\, chili\, tuna\, etc.) \nWe are also teaming up with Giant Bicycle for a giant raffle with all proceeds going to the HHRC (McCall Food Bank). \n \nThe raffle features everything from bike jerseys to locks\, gloves\, saddles and floor pumps. Each person who donates a can of food or $1 will receive a raffle ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1 each. All items will be raffled off outside Smoky’s Bar & Grill at 2 pm (including the grand prize drawing for a giant swag bag & a 2013 summer season pass). Participants must be present to win. \nThe Blue Bird quad will be in operation from 10 am – 5 pm\, with the last chair loading at 4:30 pm. The lift takes visitors to our 7\,640 foot summit\, which provides sweeping views of the Payette Lakes\, Salmon River Mountains\, Seven Devil’s and Oregon’s Eagle Cap mountains\, among others. We also have more than 20 miles of hand-built single track bike trails descending from the summit. Bike rentals are available for purchase. You can check out our rental packages and regular pricing here. \n \nSmoky’s Bar & Grill will be open from 12 noon to 6 pm on opening day. You’ll definitely want to check out our new outdoor deck and special summer menu.
