DESCRIPTION:New this year! Brundage Mountain is proud to welcome Hope on the Slopes on January 24\, 2015. This is our chance to make a difference just by doing what we love. Hood Skibowl)\, one in California (Mountain High)\, one in Alaska (Eaglecrest) and many more on the East Coast.  We would like to extend a warm HOTS family welcome to Brundage Mountain\, McCall\, Idaho!  The event will take place on\, Saturday\, January 24th\, 2015. \nHOTS is a fun\, competitive\, family and friends event.  All ages are welcome to participate.  Individuals and teams of 4 to 10 participants compete for the most vertical feet skied and most donations received.  HOTS combines our passions of finding a cure for cancer\, while skiing and boarding.  HOTS is a fantastic fundraising event in which to participate.  We promote and support an active\, healthy\, nutritious lifestyle.  Ski clubs\, high school and college clubs\, organizations\, profit and non-profit corporations\, ski and board retailers and industry manufacturers and distributors can all participate and find great value in dedicating their time\, while skiing and boarding for such a worthy cause.  Through HOTS\, we have an outlet that has become a day where we can enjoyu our sport of skiing and boarding\, while remembering those we know who have lost the battle against cancer\, or celebrating those that are winning or have won the fight against cancer. \nAbout the Cause \nOver 12 million people in the United States have had some type of cancer.  Half of all men and one-third of all women\, in the United States\, will develop cancer during their lifetimes.  Today\, millions of people are living with cancer\, have had cancer\, or have lost a loved one to cancer.  The risk of developing most types of cancer can be reduced by changes in a person’s lifestyle\, for example\, by quitting smoking\, limiting time in the sun\, being physically active\, and eating a better diet.  The sooner a cancer is found and treated\, the better the chances are for living for many years.  Some cancers are caused by things people do or expose themselves to.  For example\, smoking can cause cancers of the lungs\, mouth\, bladder\, kidneys and other organs\, as well as heart disease and stroke.  Although not everyone who smokes gets cancer\, smoking increases a person’s chance of getting the disease.  Especially for skiers and boarders\, being in the sun too much without protection can cause skin cancer.  Melanoma is a very serious form of skin cancer that is linked to sunlight and tanning bed exposure. \nFor more Information \nPlease check out our website\, www.hopeontheslopes.net and contact your friends through social media.  Sign up as an individual or a team early\, make an additional small donation\, or volunteer leading up to the event or the day of the event.

DESCRIPTION:Monday sessions starting in January and February for skiers 50+. Two groups (intermediate and advanced) explore the hill when it’s not busy and gain steady and permanent improvements over the course of six weeks. Intermediate to advanced skiers will build fundamentals on groomers during the first few outings that can transfer into off-trail exploration for the last few. If you want to be a mogul master or just get out of the intermediate rut\, this program allows you to have more fun on the hill. DESCRIPTION:A two-day celebration of ski culture featuring special brews from local breweries and the very latest demo gear available! \nLocal vendors like Gravity Sports\, The Boardroom\, Greenwood’s and Ridgeline Specialty Sports will be on site all day Saturday and look for special pricing from our very own Fall Line Tune Shop on Sunday. \nCome taste local brews created by Salmon River Brewery\, Moscow Brewing Company\, 10 Barrel and Payette Brewing Company. Tickets will be sold for $1 tastes and $5 pints.  Bring your growlers Sunday 2:00-4:00 for $13 fills of your new favorite beer! \nThe craft beer garden will be open from 12- 5 Saturday and 12 – 4  Sunday. DESCRIPTION:Brundage Mountain invites you to join us Saturday\, December 27 for our annual Light Up the Night celebration. \nThis year’s holiday party will feature a Torchlight Parade\, slope-side Fireworks Show and holiday tree bonfire. Our parking lot bonfire/beer garden party starts when the lifts close at 4:30. Strip down your Christmas tree and throw it on our bonfire – OR – join us on the third floor of the lodge for live music from Jeff Crosby and the Refugees starting at 4:00 pm. \nThe Torchlight Parade will begin at approximately 5:30 pm and our holiday Fireworks show will blast off immediately after that. \nThe festivities and fireworks are free\, and there will be plenty of standing room to watch the light show in the base area and on outdoor balconies. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you’d like to relax during the light show and please dress for winter mountain weather conditions! \nSmoky’s Bar & Grill will be open late\, but seating preference will go to those who are dining and purchasing drinks. \nOur Smoky’s Event menu includes: Chicken wings & Hawg Paws\, Kobe Sliders\, Street Tacos\, Fish & Chips\, Fried Green Beans\, Brundage Fries. \nJeff Crosby and the Refugees will be playing on the third floor of the lodge from 4-7 pm – this year – it will be open to everyone and the third-floor food service will stay open late for eats and treats! In addition to some of our regular hot fare from the Main Street Market & Eatery (Pizza\, Hot Dogs\, Chili\, Baked Potato Bar\, etc) we will be serving a delicious Fried Chicken special for $12. It comes with baked Mac & Cheese and coleslaw. The Sidestash Cafe will be open serving beer & wine. \nMark your calendars now\, as we Light Up the Night to celebrate the holiday season right! \n***  Interested in participating in the Torchlight Parade? DESCRIPTION:  \n\nWe regret to announce that an unforeseen mechanical problem with the drive on Easy Street has forced us to cancel Saturday’s scheduled event. We are sincerely sorry for the late notice and for any inconvenience this causes those who were planning to attend this event. We are expecting more snowfall this week and hope to have the mountain open in the very near future. \nThe Guest Services office on the mountain will be open from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm for anyone who would like to purchase or pick up a season pass. The Brundage Adventure Center at Alpine Village will be open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. \nOnce again\, we apologize and hope to be able to see everyone on the slopes very soon. We will open for the winter season as soon as mother nature gives us enough snow to properly pack and groom our slopes. Our plan is to operate Fridays\, Saturdays and Sundays as soon as possible. We would like to be operating seven days a week by December 12\, conditions permitting. \n\n  \n\n\n\n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Brundage Mountain Resort and Salmon River Brewery are kicking off the ski and board season with a Pray for Snow Party Friday\, November 28th. Join your fellow powder fans as we do the snow dance around our giant bonfire to tempt those snow gods into favoring our mountain town. \nHead to the McCall Christmas tree lighting at 6:00 and then come on over to the Salmon River outdoor stage area at Depot Park for live music from “Great Bait”. Cold beer will keep you inspired and fire barrels will keep you warm. \nAll attendees will be entered in a drawing (extra tickets the more beer you buy). Grand prize is a Mid-Week Club Card from Brundage Mountain.
