Regardless of age\, ability\, geographic location\, or experience in the outdoors\, Get the Girls Out! celebrates the power of nature to uplift and inspire.   \nUsing a mobile app to provide outdoor-themed missions that participants accomplish to earn points and win prizes\, just by signing up to participate in the Get the Girls Out! you’re entered to win amazing prizes directly from SheJumps partners. The more you play\, the more you can win! \nFREE Registration\nView real-time progress of other participants and connect with fellow SheJumpers across the globe. The event features the missions that teach foundational outdoor skills and mental fitness\, with tutorial videos and challenges from amazing women leaders\, guides\, athletes\, social entrepreneurs\, and activists. \nWhen does the game start and end?\nThe game goes live on Friday\, March 5\, 2021 at 6:00 AM MST and you can complete challenges to win prizes until Sunday\, March 7\, 2021 at 7:00 PM MST. \nWhat is Goosechase?\nGoosechase is an app that is the easiest way to organize and run a scavenger hunt. SheJumps has teamed up with Goosechase to bring virtual events to our community at a time where gathering in large numbers isn’t possible. Goosechase app displays missions and types to engage participants through video and photo uploads\, text responses\, and GPS checkpoints. \nWhat is a mission?\nMissions have a name\, description\, point value and an optional link or photo to provide extra information. For text & GPS missions\, the answer and target destination must also be provided. \nCan I play the game in teams?\nNo. While some GooseChase games are set up for teams\, our game is set up for individual players. \nHow do you win prizes?\nYou win prizes by accomplishing missions in the app. Sometimes it will ask you to share a photo and other times it’s a video of you completing a mission. \nWhat are the prizes?\nYou can view the full list of prizes on our terms and conditions sheet. We have a number of skis\, snowshoes\, sunglasses\, goggles\, clothing\, and tents from various partners. Check out our Instagram page the week of March 1-5 and we’ll be sharing previews there\, too. \nAre there bonus points or how do you deal with tie-breakers?\nYes you can gain bonus points for going above and beyond with your submissions. Sometimes that means adding extra vibrance to an answer\, wearing ridiculous costumes or featuring a partner item. \nWhat kind of missions are there?\nHere are the categories: Act It Out! \, Show & Tell\, Self Care\, Safety and Preparedness…and many more! \nWhat materials do I need for this?\nYou really only need your phone and to be outside\, but ‘being outside’ might mean different things for different people. We always recommend that you have your 10 Essentials with you for safety\, especially if you are going to be out on the trail. \nCostumes are encouraged \nA couple of ‘creative’ missions might require a pen\, paper\, or coloring utensils. \nDo I have to go skiing to participate?\nNo! Anyone\, anywhere can do these missions although if it’s available to you\, going skiing is a fun way to participate as well (and do the missions on the mountain). \nCan I participate if I’m injured?\nYou can do some of the missions that are more creative\, but stick with doctor’s orders. There are plenty of missions to complete while just sitting on a park bench.

SUMMARY:CANCELED: 4th of July Music Fest
DESCRIPTION:Out of an abundance of caution and with the health of our staff and community in mind\, Brundage Mountain is canceling the musical events scheduled for July 4. \nBrundage Mountain will still be hosting the Cat Track 10k & 5k Races\, as that type of event attracts a smaller crowd and race organizers have done an exceptional job of creating new protocols to reduce risks.  \nFree concert events tend to draw larger crowds. While the spacious Brundage Amphitheater does allow a large number of people to space out\, we can foresee bottlenecks as concert-sized crowds use shared facilities such as restrooms. Brundage has also canceled the TGIF Concert scheduled for July 10. The Brundage team is assessing future concert events based on Idaho’s Stages of reopening and the amount of spread in our local area and in the Treasure Valley.  \nThe Brundage team has been diligent in planning and executing our regular summer operations with new safety protocols. Throughout the day\, girls are taught a range of outdoor skills that are utilized by ski patrollers to keep the mountain safe. Thanks for understanding.\nKids ages 7-14 from Valley County\, Adams County & Riggins School District can sign up for a full-day ski experience Wednesday\, March 25 through Friday March 27\, 2020. \nThis special Learn to Ski Deal is open to 25 youth per day and includes a 90 minute ski lesson\, rental gear and a lift ticket for the day. It also includes a voucher for lunch. This program is sponsored by Midas Gold\, so there is no charge to participants. Early sign up is suggested. Capacity is limited and will be filled on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nShuttle service will be available each day with stops in Donnelly and McCall: \nDonnelly Elementary Departure: 8:00 am\nPayette Lakes Middle School Departure: 8:30 am\nBus is scheduled to depart from the mountain between 3:30 pm – 3:45 pm each day. \nAdditional Shuttle service will be available on Thursday\nwith stops in Council and New Meadows: \nCouncil High School Departure: 7:30 am \nNew Meadows School Departure: 8:15 am \nBus is scheduled to depart from the mountain between 3:30 pm – 3:45 pm each day. \nThose providing their own transportation will need to check in at the mountain no later than 9 am for First-timer and beginner lessons (which begin promptly at 10 am). Intermediate and advanced lesson sessions will be offered at 11:30 sharp\, but those participants can pick up their rental gear and take some warm-up runs prior to lesson time. \nEach child can reserve one full-day session in advance. Those wishing to participate on more than one day will be put on a waiting list for additional days and will be notified about multiple-day availability at the end of each day. Playing a variety of covers and originals from Gillian Welch to Shakey Graves\, this trio has something for everyone. Originating as a garage band\, they have evolved into a popular performance group because of their entertaining presentation and eclectic choice of material. They have fun and so will you!
