DESCRIPTION:The Brundage Demo Daze program is geared towards intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders who want to learn how to select skis based on the conditions of the day while improving their skiing in a group lesson setting. Demo skis will be included for the duration of the lesson. \nWe will be offering Demo Daze on Mondays in a 4-week session. \n4 Week session Days: March 13\, 20\, 27 and April 3. \nThe sessions will meet at 10:00 in the rental shop with group departure at 10:30 for a 90 minute group lesson.   Please check in early with the ski school desk your first session\, and head to the rental shop for ski selection after. \n4 Week session Price $110 or 1 session for $39. \nParticipants can continue to use the demo gear for the remainder of the day for an additional fee of $27.

Plus we’ll hold our traditional Treasure Hunt\, Poker Run\, Costume Contest and Beer Relay. \nWhether you want to compete for the title of craziest costume\, legendary beer relay team\, longest skimmer\, or you just want to enjoy some spring time sunshine\, a cold beer\, and some of the goofiest goons you’ve ever met\, come on out a cheer on our Crazy Brundage faithfuls as we celebrate one more awesome season! \nPlease note: Registration for Pond Skimming will be limited to the first 100 entrants. Registration ends at 12:30 if we don’t reach the 100-person mark (which we will\, so sign up EARLY!) \nSchedule of Events\n9:00 – Registration Opens for All Events – Event Tent \, Plaza Level \n9:30 – Treasure Hunt Begins\, Pick up clues at Event Tent \n   ******First 5 Winners each get a Brundage goodie bag****** \n9:30-11:30 – Poker Run \n             Best Hand wins a 2-Day Select Card\nSecond Best hand wins a $25 Brundage gift card    \n10:00-1:00  – Music with DJ Ethan Savage\, by the Pond \n12:00 – Beer Relay Begins\, Teams Meet at the Top of Alpine \n          (Must pre-register at Plaza) Each member of winning team receives a $25 Brundage Gift Card \n12:30 – Registration for Pond Skimming Closes \n12:45 – Costume Contest\, by the Pond \n          Best costume wins a $100 Brundage Gift Card \n1:00-3:00 – Pond Skimming! \n            Winning prize is a 2017/2018 Brundage Season Pass \n  \nActivity Descriptions\nTreasure Hunt\nPick up a list of clues from the event tent.  The ten clues will guide you to ten different locations on the mountain and base area.  A bag of paper numbers that corresponds to the clue number can be found at each location.  Be one of the first five treasure hunters to collect all ten numbers to win a Brundage goodie bag!  Bring numbers back to the event tent to collect your prize. \nPoker Run\nPick up your poker run game sheet at the event tent.  Find a Brundage Mountain Ambassador (look for the green coat) at the top of each lift and draw a card.  Your friendly ambassador will fill in the card info on your game sheet.  Bring sheet back to the guest services office by 12:00 pm.  Winner will be announced between Round 1 and Round 2 of pond skimming. \nBest Hand wins a 2-Day Select Card      Second Best hand wins a $25 Brundage gift card   \nBeer Relay\nPre-registered teams of four meet at the top of Alpine; our Brundage Mountain Ambassadors will direct 3 team members to stops down the run.  The team member remaining at the top of Alpine will receive a can of beer (or soda) and an empty cup.  Teammate #1 will fill their cup and head off down the run to meet teammate #2. The full cup will exchange hands and teammate #2 will continue down the run to give the full cup to teammate #3 who will continue down to teammate #4.  Teammate #4 is responsible for getting the full cup to the finish line and setting it on the table.  The winning team needs to finish in the top 6 teams and have the most beer (or soda) in their cup at the end of the run. Be forewarned- any team to add snow\, etc. to the cup will be disqualified! Each member of the winning team will receive a $25 Brundage Gift Card. \nCostume Contest\nCelebrity judges will choose the top 3 female\, top 3 male\, and top 3 kids costumes; the crowd makes the final decision! \nPond Skimming\nContestants must be ready at the start when their name is called. The top skimmers from each round will move on. Skimmers will be judged on speed\, grace\, style and costume\, so bring your ‘A’ game if you want to make it to the next round. Participants must hike back up the hill and be ready for their next attempt. Freshen up your costume and join us for BAR\, Brundage’s Assessment of Radness. \nStop by the Plaza starting at 9:30 am to pick up your booklet of ‘challenges’. Judges will be roaming the mountain all day assessing each competitor’s place on the ‘Radness Scale’. Prizes include tons of Rossi swag\, including a backpack\, gloves\, goggles and more. The Grand Prize is a 5-Day Select Card for next season\, valued at more than $270! \nExample Challenges:\n\nPhoto of you cooking breakfast in the Parking Lot\nCatch first chair at 9:30 am\nVideo of you adding to our bra tree\nPole whacking: 30 seconds of vigorous pole whacking at the top of any run\nFind the Brundage Gnome\, and take a photo with him\nPurchase and drink a Bloody Mary before noon\nShotgun a beverage mid-slope on Celebration\nStart and finish your beverage during Bluebird chair ride\nBonus points for skiing on Snow Blades or a Mono Ski for a portion of the day and for more outrageous costumes.\n\nWe expect to hear your Radness yells\, and ego claims all day!
