The Bear’s Den – Bringing Families Together

A brand new reason to ride to the top of our new Bear Chair…the Bear’s Den.
This new food and beverage outlet stands at a lovely mid-mountain location. It’s an 8-sided log building with 1,300 square feet of space inside and seating for 88 people.
Operating Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the Bear’s Den offers another dining alternative during our busiest times. Its convenient location at the top of the Bear Chair allows families to take a break and grab some refreshments while staying close to their children’s favorite runs.
The Bear’s Den will feature menu offerings not available in the main lodge. It will also have a 2,100 square foot wrap-around deck with great views of some of our favorite runs, like Alpine, Engen and Sidewinder.

New Winch Cat – New Grooming Options

Our reputation for the Best Snow in IdahoTM isn’t just about the powder. Over the past three seasons, we’ve been working hard to improve our fleet of groomers. We’ve already acquired two brand new Prinoth BR-350 groomers, and now, we’re excited to add a Prinoth winch cat to our fleet. This groomer is equipped with 1,000 meters of winch cable, which will help us reach steep slopes that were difficult or impossible to reach in the past. We also expect it to come in handy with our pre-season grooming, which could result in an even earlier opening day!

* A terrain park, designed just for you! If you’re just starting out, check out our freestyle terrain park on Jammer. This small-feature park is designed specifically for children and entry-level park riders who want to ride freestyle terrain, but aren’t quite ready to play with the big boys (and girls).

More advanced riders can saddle up on Rodeo, for a selection of medium-sized rails, jibs and jumps that offer a longer ride, more variety and a bigger challenge.
