Located high in the mountains of Central Idaho, Brundage Mountain is an Idaho Ski Resort best known for its powder-packed glades and luxuriously wide groomed runs. Blessed with over 320 base area inches of snowfall annually, Brundage has an undisputed reputation for the Best Snow in Idaho™.
Brundage Mountain Resort is taking its terrain park program in a whole new direction this season, creating a unique experience that riders won’t find anywhere else in SW Idaho. Our primary terrain park will move from Kickback to a new area between Main Street and the BlueBird Quad. This high-profile location provides better fall lines and easier access, but what’s truly unique about this park isn’t the location, it’s the construction. Brundage will be using the natural materials on the mountain to shape the terrain and build the features, thus, the moniker, “Deadwood”.
Weekend storms dropped a total of 12 inches of fresh snow on Brundage Mountain over the weekend, allowing the resort to host a special event on Saturday, November 29. Brundage plans to open the Easy Street chairlift and run Saturday, November 29 from 10 am to 2 pm. Kids 11 & under are free, and skiers and riders 12 and up will pay just $12 for a lift ticket. More snow is expected this week.
We’ve had our first glimpse of powder on the mountain this season and that has us daydreaming about long, deep days in the backcountry. Our popular guided snowcat trips are booking up quickly this time of year. Our expansive 18,000 acres of terrain is part of what makes these tours such a great value. The newest terrain in our permit area is causing a big stir among powder aficionados and you really do need to ski (or board) it to believe it.
